This policy describes AtlasTalk as it is built: a reference app with no account and with on-device history.
No account
AtlasTalk does not require an account. There is no login.
Advertising, tracking, and analytics
AtlasTalk does not show advertising, does not use a tracking framework, and does not include an analytics SDK. AtlasTalk does not sell personal information.
Information that stays on the device
Preferences, recent countries, favourites, searches, and discovery history remain on the device. Settings can clear recent searches, viewed countries, and discovery history.
Location
Location access is optional. When allowed, AtlasTalk may use an approximate location for local city and weather context. Location can be denied, and the core app still opens. Country browsing does not require location.
Live services
Weather, exchange rates, maps, and licensed remote images need a network connection. AtlasTalk requests local weather from MET Norway, exchange rates from ExchangeRate-API, and map tiles from OpenFreeMap when those features are used. Licensed photographs load from their recorded source addresses. Those requests leave the device. This policy does not describe what those providers retain.
Permissions AtlasTalk does not request
AtlasTalk does not request access to contacts, the microphone, the camera, or the photo library.
